Webmin - I really-really hate but..

Nevermind about the title. I want to introduce a powerfull tools that are using by many admin as web-based system configuration tool in Linux box. Webmin can configure many operating system internals, such as users, disk quotas, services, configuration file and absolutely apache configuration. This time, i want to make some tutorial how to install webmin into ubuntu box.

Firstly, u need to donload webmin from the webmin webste. In this case, you can download webmin for .deb package.

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin_1.500_all.deb

Just double click the binary package there, and install webmin using install button there. If install button cannot be click because of missing dependencies, just go into terminal and run for this command:

sudo apt-get install perl libnet-ssleay-perl openssl libauthen-pam-perl libpam-runtime libio-pty-perl libmd5-perl

Then, install the webmin again. So simple right?

Just point into your web browser https://localhost:10000 to run webmin. Webmin defult port is 10000.

p/s -  i really..really really hate configuration for server. There is a lot of configuration that need to do for security and so on..
